 Love

Love is the strongest feeling known, an all -encompassing passion, an extreme strength, an overwhelming excitement.

Love is trying not to hurt the other person, trying not to change the other person, trying not to dominate the other person, trying not to deceive the other person.
Love is understanding each other, listening to each other, supporting each other, having fun with each other.
Love is not an excuse to stop growing, not an excuse to stop making yourself better, not an excuse to lessen one’s goals, not an excuse to take the other person for granted.
Love is being completely honest with each other, finding dreams to share, working towards common goals, sharing responsibilities equally.
Everyone in the world wants to love

Love is not a feeling to be taken lightly

Love is a feeling to be cherished, nurtured and cared for

Love is the reason for life.

“I Knew That I Had Been Touched By Love”

by (author unknown)

I knew that I had been touched by love the first time I saw you, and I felt your warmth, and I heard your laughter.

I knew that I had been touched by love when I was hurting from something that happened, and you came along and made the hurt go away.

I knew that I had been touched by love when I suddenly stopped thinking in terms of me and started dreaming dreams of we.

I knew that I had been touched by love
when suddenly I couldn’t make decisions by myself anymore, and I had the strong desire to share everything with you.

I knew that I had been touched by love The first time we spent alone
Silently gazing out to sea together.
I knew that I wanted to stay with you forever, because I had never felt this touched by love.

To My Friend

author anonymous

I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you.

I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me.

I love you because you have done more than any creed could have done to make me good, and more than any fate could have done to make me happy.

You have done it without a touch, without a word, without a sign.

You have done it by being yourself.

Perhaps that is what being a friend means, after all.

My True-Love Hath My Heart

Sir Philip Sidney (1554–1586)

My true love hath my heart, and I have his,

By just exchange one to the other given:

I hold his dear, and mine he cannot miss,

There never was a better bargain driven:

My true-love hath my heart, and I have his.

His heart in me keeps him and me in one;

My heart in him his thoughts and  senses guides:

He loves my heart, for once it was his own;

I cherish his because in me it bides:

My true-love hath my heart, and I have his.
